Editing the film and adding my voice over as well as various other things took a lot longer than I thought. I re-recorded my voice lines many times changing some lines many times not sure of that would work best for an introduction. I used two different recording and the difference isn't too noticeable at all which I'm glad with and seemed to fit well with the edit of the film as I placed a certain line and a certain edit together. Adding the other sound effects which were mostly in one sequence at the begging because I could't use the sound in that video and despite that a lot of the sounds better show what is happening.
But this isn't what made it take longer than I expected but just the small adjustments like making the sound from each cut and each scene flow together and not make it seem so jarring or abrupt so it doesn't take you out of the film. Some sounds were too loud and some were't loud enough. A lot of it featured dialogue so all of it was important. meaning I had to listen carefully to my film to make sure the sounds worked together and like I mentioned before it doesn't surprise or irritate you as well as have the dialogue come across well enough.
